Founder of Alpha Delta Phi in 1832, Samuel Eells expressed the principal purpose of the fraternity. It was his intent that “this new association, with a true philosophical spirit, looking to the entire man, develop his whole being – moral, social and intellectual.” When funded, we will procure a copy of his original portrait, place in a quality frame and display in a prominent location in the Temple.
